A little retro, a little cute-as-a-button, this deadstock viscose knit is a real winner. Its small-scale motif is cheery without being too busy, and its gently textured hand makes it pleasant to wear. Its slight mechanical stretch and surprisingly-structured drape for a knit makes it a great option for T-shirts and other summer staples. Nearly fully opaque, it does not require a lining.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.
