Linen is one of the most eco-friendly fibres available; it"s made of flax which grows quickly, doesn’t exhaust the soil, doesn’t require pesticides or chemicals to farm, and is naturally biodegradable. In addition, this linen fabric comes from a OEKO-TEX® Certified mill, which verifies the long-term implementation of environmentally friendly production processes, social working conditions and optimum health and safety.
Lightweight Linen - Blush
This refreshing summerweight linen is as much of a joy to sew with as it is to wear. It is light with a springy drape, and a slightly rustic weave. It was pre-softened & washed so it's soft off the roll, and will only get better with age and wear. Transform it into breezy pieces suitable for any occasion.
We see it as a sundress, a flouncy summer blouse, a dramatic shirt, an elegant skirt, or a swim cover-up robe. Semi-opaque, it may require a lining depending on your application.
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.
Linen can withstand high heat when washing and drying. Choose warm or hot water when machine washing (choose a cooler temperature for colours). Tumble dry on hot, and remove when slightly damp to help eliminate wrinkles. Use a hot iron when pressing.

You will be emailed when your order is ready for shipping; a tracking number will be provided when applicable. After you've been notified, average shipping times for the US + Canada is 3-7 business days. International shipments may take anywhere from 12-40 days depending on your location. International customers may be charged VAT depending on their location. Customs and duties on international shipments are the responsibility of the customer.
