Subtlety is everything, and if you're a devotee of the less-is-more strategy you'll love this fetching striped jacquard. With alternating stripes of a lovely cream and a darker ecru in a diamond pattern, its weave invites intrigue (that texture! those subtle sparkles!) without being gaudy. Its finish is reminiscent of jersey, and its drape moderate, with a little structure only due to its (medium) weight. This elegant jacquard could be transformed into a lined robe for colder climes, a sharp structured jacket, or an eye-catching backpack/overnight bag. Fully opaque, it does not require a lining.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Machine wash in cool water on the delicate cycle using laundry detergent. Line dry your fabric and use an iron on medium setting. Do not use chlorine bleach and do not tumble dry to avoid damaging your precious garment.

Fabric Tips

Use sharp point universal needles to sew your projects. We recommend starting your project with a brand new needle. To avoid leaving small holes in the fabric use clips instead of pins.

Shipping & Returns

From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. Shipping is free on U.S. and Canadian orders over $150. U.S. and Canadian orders ship in 3-7 business days, and international orders take between 12-40 days. That said, all additional customs and duties that may be collected at the border are the sole responsibility of the customer.

We are committed to investing in sustainability initiatives to counteract the environmental impact of shipping. We offset our carbon footprint by contributing funds to forest conservation projects for every package shipped.

We leave a 36 hour buffer before shipping to allow for cancelled orders. Once your order is cut, it is final. For more questions on shipping and returns, consult our Shipping & Returns FAQ.
