TRY IT WITH:

This abstract jacquard features one of the most beautiful colourways (in our opinion!). Ochre on indigo or indigo on ochre, this beauty is double-sided, which means you can pick your favourite side to work with or turn it into an unlined or reversible garment. It also has a lovely structured heft and weight, with a moderate drape. Made from a blend of BCI cotton, viscose and recycled polyester, you'll love its slightly textured hand and luxurious sheen. Combining technological innovation and rich textile tradition, we think this medium-weight jacquard is destined for me-made greatness. Turn it into show-stopping jackets, coats, blazers, structured dresses, pants and skirts, or even a lavish pillow or home accessory.

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

We suggest washing once to remove as much shrinkage before sewing. Machine wash in cool water on the delicate cycle using laundry detergent. Line dry your fabric and use an iron on medium setting. Do not use chlorine bleach and do not tumble dry to avoid damaging your precious garment.

Easy to Work With

I am in love w this fabric and am turning it into a lightweight bomber jacket. The predominantly blue side will be used for the body and the reverse side for the sleeves. Then trimmed in navy to set off the lovely blue yarns in this jacquard. Still newish to clothing construction, it's been easy to work with and has a beautiful drape.
