Stand out in this truly unique suiting! In vibrant spring green, anything made with this lovely cotton/wool/poly blend is sure to pop out of the crowd. Its structured drape and soft hand make it a dream to sew with, and its medium weight lends it to an unbelievably wide range of applications. We see it as any traditionally tailored garment – think blazers, suit jackets, vests, skirts, and trousers. (But don't let us limit your imagination!) Fully opaque, it does not require a lining – though you may want to add one for comfort.

Deadstock

Reducing Waste from the Textile + Fashion Industry

In the fashion industry, deadstock refers to fabrics that are either surplus or left over from production, including high-quality designer textiles. By sourcing deadstock fabrics, we are giving them a new lease on life and keeping them out of landfills.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them. It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road.

Long-Term Care

Cotton/wool blends, should be washed by hand or on the delicate cycle in cool water and layed flat to dry. Avoid hanging in sunlight for long periods.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter to cut your fabric. Test pressing on a scrap piece of fabric.
