Illustrated Floral Print Viscose Crepe - Periwinkle + Cream
Illustrated petals bloom across a delicate periwinkle backdrop, complementing a flowy and beautiful drape. Lightweight and an absolute delight to touch, this textured Oeko-Tex STeP certified viscose crepe has a nice grip when sewing layers together, making it a drapey fabric that is easier to sew. We can't help but picture a gorgeous unstructured shirt, statement dress, flowy pants, or a light, breezy skirt. Fully opaque, it does not require lining.
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.
Viscose, rayon, and tencel have a tendency to shrink quite a bit, so we suggest washing at least once to remove as much shrinkage before sewing. Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage. Use a medium iron when pressing.
