A subtly textured mix of all that makes viscose and linen great... with palm fronds! This Italian-made print (which may or may not have been designed by fashion house Chloe, we're not at liberty to say 😉) is light and airy with a medium-crisp drape. We love the graphic palm frond motif in saturated tones of violet and copper, a delightful punch of colour to break through winter greys. A happy bonus? The combo of viscose and linen allows for all those sweet, sweet heat-retention (and dissolution) properties to keep you comfortable and dry, with the viscose helping to temper linen's tendency to wrinkle. We see it as a softly draping shirt, loosely fitting trousers, a full skirt, or striking dress. Almost fully opaque, it may require a lining for some projects.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.
