We firmly believe any classic motif can be livened up with nothing but a change of palette. Case in point: with this stunning viscose crepe, the blossoms and leaves are given a boost with pink, green, and lemon-yellow pastel tones. The overall effect is striking, we think! Add that already-refreshing boost to its gently textured hand and medium drape, and you have one cool drink of a textile. Maybe that metaphor's a little much, but we're going to roll with it. What to make with this lovely crepe? We think it's perfect for blouses, flowy dresses, voluminous skirts, caftans, and loose-fitting pants. Semi-opaque, it may require a lining for some projects.

Designer Italian Deadstock

In the fashion industry, deadstock refers to fabrics that are either surplus or left over from production, including high-quality designer textiles. By sourcing deadstock fabrics, we are giving them a new lease on life and keeping them out of landfills.<br>

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.
