Made of 100% EcoVero Viscose in France by a Heritage Mill
EcoVero is a type of viscose made using sustainable wood from controlled sources: FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes). Our supplier is a heritage French textile producer that has been crafting high-quality, fashion-forward fabrics for nearly 200 years. This particular fabric is Oeko-Tex STeP certified, meaning its production has been vetted for chemical management, environmental performance, environmental management, social responsibility, quality management, and workplace health and safety. It is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning it was produced without the use of harmful dyes, finishes, or chemicals.

Reminiscent of 70s prints, this playful floral viscose brings a touch of extravaganza to the everyday. With a fluid drape and a smooth, silky finish, it's a treat to the senses that feels as good to touch as it does to regard.
Light as air, this fine non-stretch weave would make a fantastic True Bias Calvin wrap dress, a gorgeous unstructured shirt, or a light, breezy skirt. Fully opaque, it does not require lining.
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.
Viscose, rayon, and tencel have a tendency to shrink quite a bit, so we suggest washing at least once to remove as much shrinkage before sewing. Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage. Use a medium iron when pressing.
