Familiar motifs in an extraordinary setting, this stunning poly jacquard is undeniably festive. It's quite a lightweight fabric - the jacquard here refers to its weave, not its weight - and allows one to choose from a more gold-heavy look or a slightly more demure white. With a textured hand and a fairly crisp drape, it's likely to be a showstopper no matter how you choose to use it. We suggest a tailored jacket, trousers, structured dress, or skirt. Fully opaque, it does not require a lining.
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.
Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach. Use a low iron when pressing.
