If you're looking for a high-quality activewear knit fabric that's durable and kinder to the planet, look no further than this midweight recycled polyester knit made from post-consumer material and plastic bottles. Thirteen plastic bottles went into each yard of this bluesign® and Oeko-Tex®-certified fabric! With 70% four-way stretch on both cross and lengthwise grains, this recycled poly feels just as strong as virgin polyester and features a smooth hand and moderate drape. It also has moisture-wicking and UV blocking properties, making it ideal for performance and activewear garments such as leggings and sports bras. Fully opaque, no lining is needed for this fabric.

Eco-Friendly

Recycled + OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified

This recycled polyester fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified, ensuring the recycled yarns are free of harmful substances. It is also bluesign® approved, meaning our family-owned supplier has used the best technologies and most responsible resources available to minimize the impact on people and the environment. Using recycled plastics helps divert these materials from landfills and consequently minimizes the amount that ends up in our oceans, which is harmful to marine life. In addition, the manufacturing process for these fabrics requires less water and energy than that of virgin fibres, and allows for lower greenhouse gas emissions.
