Yarn-Dyed Gingham Cotton - Fawn + White - Swatch
Like a sun-dappled picnic basket on a bright spring day, this gingham is refreshingly chic. Made of 100% BCI certified cotton, this lightweight shirting fabric is crisp with a soft hand. Midsize (about 1 cm/ .5") gingham checks add the perfect amount of whimsy. Try it as a classic collared shirt or shirtdress, a structured sundress, or a semiformal blouse.
Semi-opaque, this fabric would not require lining as a shirt; if you're making a close-fitting garment, you may want to include a lining for full coverage. It is easy to sew with and behaves itself.
