Leading this initiative is Lise-Marie Cayer, Business Development Manager at Core Fabrics, bringing 20 years of hands-on expertise as a fashion designer and production director in the local market.

A graduate of Cégep Marie-Victorin’s Fashion Design program, Lise-Marie founded her own activewear brand, Voyou, in 2007. Driven by her passion for knits and entrepreneurial spirit, she built a thriving sportswear business for nine years, including a brick-and-mortar boutique on Montreal’s Mont-Royal East bearing her initials, LMCA.

From 2015 to 2024, she shared her expertise as a pattern maker, sample developer, sourcing strategist, and production chain specialist with a diverse range of fashion businesses. One standout client, Rose Boreal, grew so successfully under her guidance that Lise-Marie became a partner in the eco-responsible activewear company, now recognized for its sustainable yoga and workout wear for women.

With her real-world experience, deep industry knowledge, and extensive network, Lise-Marie is the ideal guide whether you’re launching your first collection or scaling your fashion business to new heights.
