Rooted in Mile End since 2003, Jennifer Glasgow has spent over 20 years championing Montreal's creative community. First as Local 23, later renamed General 54, giving local designers, artists and musicians a place to sell and perform alongside vintage and local fashion. Today, both a fashion house and boutique, it champion independant designers through a Slow Fashion lens. Jennifer believes real change comes from collective action, every drop counts and through transparency and continous improvement, she aims to inspire the next generation of designers, convinced that looking away simply isn't an option.

Founded in 2018 by Corinne Bourget, HOTELMOTEL handcraft sneakers, sandals and boots, locally in Québec. Each piece bears the mark of a precise, attentive gesture. Faced with the disappearance of pratical shoemaking training programs in Canada, the entrepreneur trained abroad to preserve a craft at risk of being lost. This is a commitment she has carried foward since 2014 as a teacher at the Centre des métiers du cuir de Montréal, actively contributing to passing these skills on to the next generation. Thought HOTELMOTEL, she champions a powerful social impact: safeguarding and passing on the art of shoemaking in Québec, guide by ethical and sustainable principles inspired by the Slow Fashion movement.

Founed in 2011 by Emilie Rioux, Meemoza creates pieces with a lighter environmental footprint, designed for a community of women seeking meaning behind the clothes they wear. Drawing on a background in design, communications and business along with inspiring travers accross Oceania, Asia and Europe, the designer has crafted a signature style that blends feminity, counsciouness and well-being. Emilie takes pride in having championed ethical and sustainable textiles from the very beginning, back when this kind of sourcing was still niche. To this day, that practive remains at the heart of every Meemoza piece.

Founded in 2010 by Violaine Tétreault, Veinage creates bags and accessories from reclaimed leather and wood, handmade in small batches at her Montreal studio. Co-founder in 2021 of Coop MADDAM, the first women-owned cooperative in Canada to own its own workspace, Violaine embodies both innovation and commitment to the long-term sustainability of creative spaces of creative spaces for women. She is a driven entrepreneur who isn't afraid to do thing differently. Blending noble materials, repurposing and artisanal craftmanship, Veinage carries a signature all its own, with wood as the distinctive mark of every piece.

Based in Montréal, Studio Design Sloe places responsible sourcing at the heart of its approach, demonstration great transparency around its eco-design and sourcing pratices. Its use of exceptional natural textiles crafted by Canadian artisans sets it apart. Its name sums up this commitment: Simples silhouettes, Luxurious textiles, Original design, Eco-responsible pratices, a philosophy that favour noble, sustainable materials overproduction. Under the creative direction of Nancy Drummond-Hay, the brand goes further by offering restoration and alteration services for vintage garments, extending the life of existing pieces and reducing the need for new material.
