Midweight textured viscose–linen blend (65% viscose, 35% linen) in white; softly slubbed with fluid drape. Nearly opaque—ideal for dresses, shirts, and flowy warm-weather garments.


This midweight deadstock fabric from a high-end Montreal designer blends 65% viscose with 35% linen, combining the breathability of linen with the fluid movement of viscose. The surface has a subtle slubbed texture from the linen fibres, giving it a gently rustic character while maintaining a soft, smooth hand. Thanks to the higher viscose content, the fabric falls with a relaxed, flowy drape rather than the crisp structure typical of pure linen. Light, breathable, and comfortable in warm weather, it is well suited to dresses, shirts, and flowy pants. The white base is nearly opaque but may benefit from lining depending on the garment—after all, it is white linen.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. This gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend caring for your fabric in the same way you intend to care your finished garment.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water using a gentle detergent, line or lay flat to dry. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.
