Kalle Shirtdress Sleeve PDF Pattern Expansion

This is the first Closet Core pattern I've made. I definitely like it. I like the style. I like that I was able to fit it easily. Some of the construction methods were new to me, and my sewing is a little rusty. But I liked learning new ways to put a shirt together, especially the collar and hem.

I'm fairly new to sewing and had never made an elaborate shirt with a yoke, collar stand and button placket before. Thanks to the sew along posts on your website, not only did I succeed but my first attempt is totally gorgeous and wearable! I'm so happy to have learned these new skills, including the burrito technique. I can't wait to make other versions of the Kalle.

I'm making a mini dress version of the Kalle and am wondering if I can omit the bust darts for a boxier fit. I'm making it in a size 8. Thanks.

I like the classic style of the Kalle shirtdress and I also bought the sleeve extension. I like the popover style and I have made it in both short and long sleeve versions. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, with lots of diagrams.
