Mistral is a sophisticated dress that effortlessly bridges casual and formal occasions. This elegant design features a V-neckline and short dolman sleeves for a seamless, comfortable fit. The bodice is cut on the bias and flows gracefully into the skirt, creating a beautiful ruched effect at the waist that enhances the natural drape of the fabric. The neckline is neatly finished with facings, while invisible hems provide a polished final touch. Deceptively simple with only 4 pattern pieces to assemble, this versatile pattern is available in both midi and maxi lengths and works beautifully with both woven fabrics (finished with an invisible zipper) and knits (no zipper required).

  • View A is a maxi-length woven dress. It is finished in the back with an invisible zipper.
  • View B is a midi-length woven dress. It is finished in the back with an invisible zipper.
  • View C is a maxi-length knit dress.
  • View D is a midi-length knit dress.

Suggested Fabric: 

  • For the woven version of this dress, choose mid to heavyweight fabrics with good drape such as Tencel twill and more substantial silks and viscoses. Lighter weight drapey fabrics may be used but may create rippling along the zipper.
  • For the knit version, use knits with good drape, weight, and body with moderate stretch such as stretch velvet and lightweight Ponte. Heavier weight stretch jersey can also be used.

From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. Shipping is free on Canadian and US orders over $150. 

We ship globally! Non Canadian and US orders and orders under 150$ are calculated by weight.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Orders to the US under 800$ are duty-free.
