There's a floral for everyone's personal style. We think this one miiiiight be yours. With its delicately detailed illustrated blossoms and lush, watercolour-styled colour all on a deep black background, this viscose deadstock knit transports us to humid tropical evenings. Ideally humid tropical evenings while wearing something made out of this knit: it's light and airy, with a gentle mechanical stretch and a full, slinky drape. It's perfect for dresses, skirts, and anything body-hugging and deluxe. Semi-opaque, it may require a lining for some applications.

Reducing Waste from the Textile + Fashion Industry

In the fashion industry, deadstock refers to fabrics that are either surplus or left over from production, including high-quality designer textiles. By sourcing deadstock fabrics, we are giving them a new lease on life and keeping them out of landfills.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.
