As makers and sewists, we understand the power, meaning and connection that comes from sewing your own clothes. We want to not only celebrate our community, but the cultures, companies and artisans who are working hard to produce high quality textiles we can sew and wear with pride. Behind each fabric we carry is a tradition, history and a pair of hands, passing their labour and creativity on to you, and it is our privilege to honour their stories and production.

- We are intentional about curating environmentally sustainable and ethically produced textiles and prioritize eco-certified, organic, recycled, deadstock, fair trade and artisanal fabrics, from raw material to finished product.
- To help our community understand what they’re buying, we provide as much visual, descriptive and technical information as possible so customers feel informed and confident in their purchase.
- In our day-to-day operations in our studio, we aim to always choose the most environmentally sustainable option, from eco-friendly packaging choices to responsible energy consumption. We also invest in sustainability initiatives to offset the environmental impact of shipping your packages.
- We are continually reviewing our sourcing practices to identify and implement areas of improvement. We are committed to continuous learning and growth, and work with experts, standards and frameworks to benchmark our progress and set goals for the future.
