As the year comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to you for your support. We feel so blessed to be a part of such an amazing community of makers and fabric lovers. Thanks to your creativity (and impeccable taste in fabrics 😉), 2025 has been bursting with sewing inspo and colour.
This year, we had so much fun with our Market prints and our linen checks. Seeing the projects you created with them has been a highlight for us – thank you for bringing our fabrics into your sewing rooms!
From our Canadian-made Core Knits to our custom organic cotton spandex and cozy heavy fleece, we seriously leveled up our knit game this year! We created a new colour palette for mixing and matching across our custom lines, and with the help of our VIPs, our organic cotton stretch bull denim came to life. Together, we perfected this dreamy bottomweight!
We kicked off the Core Rewards Program at the start of the year, and a huge thank-you to everyone who joined! Earn points with every purchase and redeem them for discounts. VIP members get even more perks like early access to sales, special free gifts, and a say in which fabrics we stock next.
We launched our wholesale program this year and loved collaborating with designers to source fabrics and share their deadstock treasures with the sewing community. We also kicked off partnerships with incredible fabric shops and sewing schools across the US and Canada, and introduced a new consulting service to support small businesses and designers. We can’t wait to grow these collaborations even more next year!
Meeting some of you in person this year was truly a highlight! From our Open House packed with inspiring sewing chats to our Lunch & Learn on textile circularity, every moment spent connecting with you reminded us why we do what we do. We can’t wait to host more events next year as we transition into our new (much bigger!) studio.
Shipping to the US has been an ongoing challenge this year, with US tariffs and the end of de minimis creating new hurdles. Thanks to our co-founder Tereska (who has devoted countless hours to navigating these changes) we’ve been able to keep sending fabrics to our US customers, complete with special low-tariff collections and duties paid at checkout, so there are no surprises at delivery. We truly appreciate your patience and support as we continue working to make US shipping as smooth as possible!
Our free resources are one of our favourite ways to say thank-you, and this year we launched the Core Bowling Bag and Mini Bowling Bag Charm, perfect for a little DIY fun, a cheerful holiday gift, or just a treat for yourself. Thanks for sticking with us through a year full of twists, turns, and exciting opportunities. We feel so lucky to share these fabrics with such an amazing community!
