Part of our Core Collection of fabrics, this classic duck canvas made from 100% organic cotton is built to work hard and play hard. Midweight at 10 oz with a moderate but structured drape, it's easy to work with and holds a crease like a champ. The best part? It will only get more beautifully broken in and patina-ed with age and wear. Our canvas is the ideal choice for any garment where you want longevity and durability - think workwear like coveralls, overalls, and chore jackets, or pants, trousers, anoraks, and tote bags. Fully opaque, it does not require a lining.

Wash

This mid weight cotton canvas is softly structured and easy to sew. I used a jeans needle and topstitch needle with slightly longer stitch lengths. The Fire Red colour has a blue under tone and is quite vibrant. The off cuts will be perfect for bags and hats.
Core Fabric has the best organic cotton fabric. The colors are vibrant and the fabric looks great.
High quality fabric! Will definitely be purchasing from Core Fabrics again.
This fabric is amazing and the customer service is wonderful
I made the Closet Core Rika pants with this fabric and absolutely loved sewing with it, as well as how the pants fit and wear. Definitely recommend for comfortable and hard working pants!
