Wash
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them. You can add half a cup to one cup of vinegar to the final rinse cycle to help set the colours and minimize bleeding. Itâs important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road.
Long-Term Care
Cotton/synthetic blends may shrink excessively when exposed to high heat. Machine wash in cool water and tumble dry on low.
Fabric Tips
Use a medium iron with a pressing cloth. We recommend starting your project with a brand new ballpoint or stretch needle.

Great quality and made a wonderful tshirt.
Je constate à chaque fois la grande qualité des tissus.
Let me start by saying that this is a high-quality fabric. For me though, I prefer a thinner, drapier fabric like a merino wool jersey for finished garments. I used this fabric for a wearable test t-shirt for my adult daughter. Ultimately, when the fit is perfected, I'll make the t-shirt in a merino wool jersey. This fabric is fairly thick, "foldable" (but not "drapey,") breathes pretty well, and washes/dries nicely (without excessive shrinkage or wrinkling). It sews up easily on a regular sewing machine with a ballpoint needle (I don't own a serger). It is an excellent budget-friendly option for testing knit garment patterns.
I washed the fabric as suggested and did not find any marks. Will be cutting out and sewing my T shirts in the near future. Garden season is coming soon, I hope.
I know we are trying to avoid plastics but when they leave your parcel on the doorstep in the rain the fabric could use some protection.
I love this fabric. Itâs easy to sew and has a nice feel to it. It makes perfect turtlenecks.
