Short of velvet, there's no fabric that feels as luxurious as corduroy. Surprisingly, the common tale that its name derives from "corde du roi" – "cord of the king" – is actually a false etymology. Who'd have thought! Either way, this beautiful GOTS-certified organic cotton and lycra blend will make you feel like royalty. With a fine wale, the striping effect is rather subtle. Midweight with that characteristic velvety texture and a crisp drape, this corduroy is an excellent contender for perfect bottomweight fabric. With a touch of stretch for comfort, It's ideal for pants, dungarees, skirts, structured dresses, and jackets. Fully opaque, it does not require a lining.

From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. Shipping is free on Canadian and US orders over $150. 

We ship globally! Non Canadian and US orders and orders under 150$ are calculated by weight.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Orders to the US under 800$ are duty-free.
