Common wisdom says opposites attract, and that rings true with this beautifully contrasting checked handwoven cotton. Its midweight heft and rustic yet soft hand are perfect for any everyday use, but its crisp drape really lends it to shirting applications. This artisanal fabric has been handspun and handwoven on traditional looms by skilled artisans using azo-free dyed cotton yarn. We see it transformed into any application where you want a touch of crisp cotton structure - think collared shirts, shirtdresses, and eye-catching trousers. Fully opaque, it does not require a lining.

Please note that any order over 5 yards may come in multiple cuts, due to the handwoven nature of the fabric.

Shipping & Returns

From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. Shipping is free on Canadian and US orders over $150. 

We ship globally! Non Canadian and US orders and orders under 150$ are calculated by weight.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Orders to the US under 800$ are duty-free.

We are committed to investing in sustainability initiatives to counteract the environmental impact of shipping. We offset our carbon footprint by contributing funds for every package shipped to supporting projects that remove excess carbon dioxide from the environment.
