We are thrilled to introduce a collection of broadcloth cotton prints, custom batik-dyed in small batches by artisans in Ghana.
Batik is a resist printing process in which the artisan applies wax directly to the cloth in specific patterns before immersing it in the dye. Once the colour is set, the fabric is plunged into boiling water to remove the wax. This method results in one-of-a-kind crackled motifs which we are incredibly honoured to bring to you.
Mediumweight with a crisp hand, these authentic batiks would be perfect for summer shirts and shirtdresses, breathable caftans, or a gorgeous pair of wide-legged trousers.
