Dramatic, stretchy, and great for body-hugging dresses, skirts, and more, this rib knit has an awful lot going for it. Made of EcoVero viscose, it's produced from sustainably grown trees. Add a touch of spandex for great stretch recovery, and ta-da! You have a beautiful, versatile rib knit that has enough heft to avoid the show-through of lightweight, clingier knits. With a medium drape and soft, textured hand, this midweight knit is best for the aforementioned applications, plus t-shirts, bodysuits, and the like. Nearly fully opaque, it does not require a lining. (Lighter colours may become more transparent when stretched.)

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and lay flat to dry or line dry. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use a medium iron with a pressing cloth. We recommend starting your project with a brand new ballpoint or stretch needle.
