Strut your stuff in this understated beige-and-orange plaid suiting! Its cotton-poly mix makes it soft to the touch and durable, while still retaining a crisply structured drape and a versatile medium weight. This suiting has a very tight weave, and a texture that doesn't immediately read as "suiting", meaning it's even more versatile than you might imagine at first glance. Transform it into any traditionally tailored garment, or lean into its unique characteristics and make it into a blouse, dress, or even a pair of shorts! Fully opaque, it does not require a lining, though you may want to add one for comfort.

Deadstock

Reducing Waste from the Textile + Fashion Industry

In the fashion industry, deadstock refers to fabrics that are either surplus or left over from production, including high-quality designer textiles. By sourcing deadstock fabrics, we are giving them a new lease on life and keeping them out of landfills.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.

Shipping & Returns

From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. Shipping is free on U.S. and Canadian orders over $150. U.S. and Canadian orders ship in 3-7 business days, and international orders take between 12-40 days. We are committed to investing in sustainability initiatives to counteract the environmental impact of shipping. We offset our carbon footprint by contributing funds to forest conservation projects for every package shipped.

We leave a 36 hour buffer before shipping to allow for cancelled orders. Once your order is cut, it is final. For more questions on shipping and returns, consult our Shipping & Returns FAQ.
