Cheerfully classic, this cotton-poly suiting deadstock is vibrant and energetic. Its bright colours mixed with a classic motif make it perfect for livening up otherwise traditionally formal wear. Its soft, easy to wear hand and crisp drape are coupled with a quite light weight to make for a deeply versatile textile! We see it as blazers, vests, trousers, skirts, and other tailored classics. Fully opaque, it does not require a lining- though you may want to add one for comfort.

Deadstock

Reducing Waste from the Textile + Fashion Industry

In the fashion industry, deadstock refers to fabrics that are either surplus or left over from production, including high-quality designer textiles. By sourcing deadstock fabrics, we are giving them a new lease on life and keeping them out of landfills.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them. It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road.

Long-Term Care

Cotton/wool blends, should be washed by hand or on the delicate cycle in cool water and layed flat to dry. Avoid hanging in sunlight for long periods.
