Used for tailoring applications or any place where you need structured but gentle stability, this sew-in horsehair canvas interfacing has actual animal hair, in this case goat, woven into the weft of the weave. This makes this canvas very resistant to folding in one direction, but easily manipulated in the other-- perfect for solving particular tailoring challenges, and ideal to add stability to coats and blazers. Please note this canvas is not self-adhesive, and will need to be sewn or basted in place.

Care Instructions

Fabric Tips

Use a press cloth like silk organza or lightweight cotton to protect your iron and fabric. Set your iron to medium to high heat (cottons can take higher heat, while more delicate fabrics like viscose are better on medium). Low heat may not be hot enough to melt the glue.

From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. Shipping is free on U.S. and Canadian orders over $150. U.S. and Canadian orders ship in 3-7 business days, and international orders take between 12-40 days. All additional customs and duties that may be collected at the border are the sole responsibility of the customer.
