You deeply care about the environmental impact of the textile industry?

Whether you are a teacher, an academic coordinator, or a deeply engaged student, we invite you to join us for a 2-hour immersive visit at our space in Montreal’s Chabanel District.

Why

At Core Fabrics, we see today’s students as the next generation shaping new practices. We strongly believe in building bridges with them to nurture their creative potential and drive the meaningful, sustainable changes our textile and fashion industries need.

What to Expect During Your Visit

During this 2-hour immersive session, students are invited to explore the realities of building a more responsible fashion industry, beyond theory. Through concrete examples like deadstock textiles, eco-design principles, and sourcing strategies, they gain a deeper understanding of what it truly takes to create with intention.

Guided by Lise-Marie Cayer, a fashion designer trained at l’École de mode du Cégep Marie-Victorin, entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the local fashion industry, and now leading Business Development at Core Fabrics, students benefit from a grounded, real-world perspective.

This session connects creativity with the realities of production, helping students understand how to design responsibly while navigating constraints, making informed choices, and contributing to a more sustainable future for fashion.
