I've used this pattern several times and still not exhausted the options - I'm still eyeing the overall version, which would get me overalls that aren't baggy and formless around the waist. In the meantime, the shorts and pants fit great. I made the 14 size then adjusted the waistband to be shorter (also tweaking darts and side seams to narrow the waist) before attaching the waistband. This pattern is outstanding in linen: long cool pants that can dress up for an event.

I bought this pattern for my daughter, who was in dire need of some pants but couldn't find any to flatter her curvy body. I cut these out in a straight size 16 and made a hasty muslin -- the fit was pretty darn close! I used some of the 1" SA in the side seams to add a little to the waist, and the waistband had a little extra length built in so that it wasn't a matter of cutting out a whole new one. Well designed pattern, great instructions, and a gorgeous end result! I also purchased the hardware kit and it's nice high quality stuff!

I love these pants so much. I did the Trousers in a cotton chambray, with one side zip. They fit very well, and were easy to adjust to my non-standard waist-hip ratio.
My only complaint is that the illustrations for concealing the zipper were confusing, and I didn't quite understand the instructions for that step. I ended up just topstitching around the zipper and leaving it very visible, which is fine but not quite as clean as it could be.

Beaucoup de versions possibles. J'ai adapté le pantalon pour mettre une braguette devant et pas de côté. Pour moi, agrandissement des pinces et réduction des côtés tailles (5mm) pour un ajustement parfait !

This pattern is great, and the hardware set is perfect. I tried using other (cheaper) hardware, but it fell apart when I was installing it in my overalls. The Jenny hardware feels solid, I’ve washed it several times with no issues, and it looks professional!
