The entire studio collectively swooned when these ethereal beauties arrived. A super breathable mix of Tencel™ lyocell and viscose with a sueded, sandwashed hand and a delicate diagonal texture, this fabric is ridiculously soft with a springy, fluid drape. Like a flowier, more textured cousin to Tencel twill, it's amazing for dresses, blouses and relaxed fitting jumpsuits and pants.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.

We ship globally! Non Canadian and US orders and orders under 150$ are calculated by weight.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Orders to the US under 800$ are duty-free.

Love the texture and drape

The colour is a slightly warmer navy than I thought it would be but still a gorgeous hue. Used it for a pair of Style Arc Barry pants and the drape is perfect. Also made a modified Style Arc Annie tank top to go with and I will be ordering more to sew a cropped shirt. Delivery was quick and the packaging was lovely.

Fabric Quality

All the fabric I purchased is absolutely beautiful! I have never been this pleased with the quality of a fabric.

First Time Using Tencel

I really enjoyed working with this fabric. It moved around a bit while sewing but I was careful to stay stitch areas that could stretch so had no problems. I pretreated it by washing it in cold water on gentle and put it in the dryer on low for about 15 minutes and then hung it to dry completely. I made the Aria Shirt by Love Notions and it worked out great. It has a beautiful drape that was perfect for this pattern. I would definitely use this fabric again.
