Sewing the Jasika Blazer or other tailered jacket? This exclusive tailoring supplies kit includes all the unique interfacing and supplies needed to make a gorgeous, speed tailored jacket or blazer! Save time gathering your supplies and get everything you need in one place (fabric not included).

We have sourced the highest quality materials for this kit. Choose between black or white for your kit; black works for most applications, but white is suggested if you are working with light-coloured and thinner fabrics like linen.

Please note: Our interfacings do not need to be pre-treated; pre-treating them may affect the quality of the adhesive.

Included in the kit:

  • Fusible weft interfacing - 1.4m / 1.5 yd (available in black or white)
  • Fusible knit interfacing - .9m / 1 yd (available in black or white)
  • Horsehair canvas - 20" x 12"
  • One pair of sleeveheads (available in black or white)
  • One pair of industry-quality shoulder pads - 3/8" thick (light grey)
  • Cotton stay tape - 2.5 yd

    Kit was invaluable

    The Tailoring Kit has saved me a lot of legwork to find the necessary notions for competing the Jasika Jacket. I have made 3 blazers (so far) and I ordered a kit for each of those projects. I love being able to open a nice little package and have all the essentials at once. I love everything that Closet Core provides to support sewists! The only negative I can think of is the knit inter facing does not indicate a grain line or selvedge edge. Maybe it doesn’t matter, but I am a rule follower, and if the pattern piece has a grain line marked on it I make sure to place those pieces accordingly.

    An essential for a blazer

    This is my third Core Fabrics Tailoring Supplies Kit. The kit, with interfacing, shoulder pads etc, elevates an average blazer into a well-fitting professional garment. The kit along with the Jasika blazer sew-along helped me make blazers that I love to wear.
