This deadstock jacquard double knit from Montreal-based eco brand Cokluch showcases a stunning abstract surface, featuring two intricately woven knit layers with a thin layer of batting sandwiched in between. The result is a soft, embossed textile that offers a comforting, substantial feel. Made from a poly-cotton blend with a touch of spandex, it provides a versatile drape and generous stretch, making it perfect for cozy sweaters, jackets, pants, joggers, or skirts. Locally knitted in Montreal, it’s fully opaque—no lining needed.

Wash
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them. You can add half a cup to one cup of vinegar to the final rinse cycle to help set the colours and minimize bleeding. It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road.
Long-Term Care
Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cool water and hand to dry or set dryer to the lowest setting to keep the fibres soft and fuzzy.
Fabric Tips
Avoid using iron on the fuzzy fleece side.

I absolutely love this fabric. I made the Itch to Stitch Teifi cardigan and it is so cozy and cute. Received some lovely comments on it as well😉
I ordered this product after getting one of the other jacquard deadstock options from the Cokluch deadstock launch and I couldn’t be happier. The squishy texture and rich deep brown colour are absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to make a faux quilted jacket.
This fabric is so very pretty. It’s a rich, warm chocolate brown. The hand is soft, but thick. I am going to make a long cardigan with the coordinating knit as pants. I know I will just live in the outfit.
Love all my fabrics from core fabrics- this one is gorgeous but I will say I was disappointed that the reverse side is actually a prettt rough polyester and not quilted. I shouldn’t have assumed it was soft on the reverse but it definitely isn’t suitable for something next to the skin, if you’re sensitive to textures! Looking at how Cokluch uses it (and I love them also!) they made a jacket, which I think makes the most sense. Too bad cause the embossed part is actually so soft and squishy and I was planning on a sweater
This is a gorgeous knit. It’s thick, soft and squishy and feels amazing on. It’s easy to sew but I did find buttonholes a challenge due to the thickness. Highly recommend!
