Viscose Rayon Fibre

At Core Fabrics, we love Viscose fabrics. Since viscose is the most widely used form of rayon, the two terms are often used interchangeably. Viscose rayon fibre is made from sustainable cellulose fibres – most often wood and tree pulp – that are sourced from fast-growing regenerative forests. Since chemicals are required to turn the wood pulp into fibres, viscose fabric is considered to be a semi-synthetic textile. When spun into skirts, dresses, and blouses, viscose fabric has picture-perfect drape, and it plays very well with dye and prints.
