Henriette pleated blouse - PDF Pattern
The Henriette blouse is a PDF sewing pattern inspired by early 19th-century women’s undergarments. With its loose, romantic silhouette, gathered neckline, delicate pintucks, and long slightly puffed sleeves, Henriette brings vintage charm and timeless style to your handmade wardrobe.
Version 2 of the blouse enhances these features with scalloped embroidered lace trim at the neckline and cuffs, adding a refined, feminine touch. Whether you're dressing it up or wearing it casually, Henriette is a versatile piece that blends historical inspiration with modern elegance.
The pattern is available in sizes 0 to 34, and includes two cup options for each size range to better fit a variety of body types. Ideal for intermediate to advanced sewists.
FABRIC:
Choose a soft cotton poplin, linen, or a linen/cotton blend with a weight between 120 and 150 g/m². Lighter fabrics such as silk or Tencel can also be used, but the pintucks will be more challenging to sew accurately.
Preferably use a fabric with a similar right and wrong side, as part of the button placket will show the wrong side.
