Carolyn Pajama Pattern
Designed for chic lounging, the Carolyn Pajamas are thoughtfully tailored and supremely comfortable.
The Carolyn top features a classic notched collar, curved hem and breast pocket with three sleeve options. For a matching pajama set, choose between a straight-legged pant (with or without cuff) or a cuffed short. Both pants and shorts feature an elasticized waist, pockets and a faux fly. Personalize Carolyn by adding contrasting piping details for an elegant finish.
Recommended fabric:
- Light to medium-weight wovens such as cotton flannel, linen, quilting cottons, shirting, lawn, double gauze, rayon challis, silk crepe or charmeuse.

Yesterday, I finished my carolyn pajamas and im over the moon happy with them💖 These look anf fit great! I paid for a video tutorial to help with this pattern, and happy I did as I haven’t sewn clothes in years. Will see mote of this pattern, guaranteed 😊👍
Love the fit on this pattern just a few adjustments. Instructions said that size 22 would be for a D bust but I found I still needed to do a FBA. Also because I’m really short I had to take up the pant length by almost 6 inches would be nice if there was a petite option. The fabric was extremely hard to work with ( my fault for wanting satin ) over all everything came together good and love the results thanks closet core for a great pattern.
I can't recommend this pattern highly enough! The instructions were great at teaching me some new techniques (including adding piping) and I'm so happy with my finished pajamas. I really liked the thought that has been put into enclosing/ finishing raw edges neatly.
My first project with piping and they turned out so well! Instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to adjust the pattern for my individual fit preferences. I will absolutely be making this pattern again!
Instructions were clear and these will be easy to make. Just got a new sewing machine and learning about all the gadgets with it before I make the pajama shirts!
