Lightweight, smooth, and cool to the touch, this BCI cotton lawn evokes the timeless romance of a William Morris–inspired vision of idealized greenery. Delicate terracotta, yellow, and olive blooms weave their way up a graceful trellis, set against a rich indigo backdrop, a palette that feels both true to the Arts & Crafts revival and refreshingly modern. Woven by our favourite heritage French mill and OEKO-TEX® STeP & STANDARD 100 certified, this border print features a charming floral band running along the selvedge, perfect for adding thoughtful design accents to hems, waistlines, cuffs, or any special detail. With its medium drape and fully opaque finish, it’s a versatile choice for crisp shirts, flowing dresses, or even dreamy pyjamas.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road. Machine wash in warm water and tumble dry on medium or hot. More delicate cottons like voile, double gauze or embroidered cottons should be washed by hand or on the delicate cycle.

Fabric Tips

Use a hot iron when pressing.
