Fairly and Sustainably Produced in the USA
This low-carbon footprint and pesticide-free textile is produced entirely within the USA. Our family-owned supplier sources organic cotton that is grown and ginned by the Texas Organic Growers Coop. The ginned cotton is then spun, knit and dyed within a 150 mile radius of their Asheville, North Carolina headquarters. The dying process uses fiber reactive dyes in a closed-loop system where the water is perpetually recycled. We’re thrilled to offer a textile that meets the highest quality and sustainability standards, while also supporting the domestic textile industry.

TRY IT WITH:
Always pre-wash/treat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing and prepare for sewing! We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Separate brights as some dyes and prints may run the first few washes. It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road. Machine wash in warm water and tumble dry on medium or hot. More delicate cottons like voile, double gauze or embroidered cottons should be washed by hand or on the delicate cycle. Use a medium iron when pressing.
