Experience the ultimate comfort with our waffle knit made from 100% organic cotton! Its textured squares give a nod to its namesake breakfast, and while it may not be edible, it promises to keep you cozy through all seasons. The unique woven pattern creates pockets of air, providing excellent insulation and breathability. This midweight fabric offers a soft hand and a medium drape, perfect for snug garments against the skin. Boasting a good mechanical stretch and recovery, this Oeko-Tex Standard 100-certified fabric is ideal for creating cold season essentials like base layers, tees, henleys, sweaters, cardigans, long johns, pajamas, as well as the coziest robes and towels. Fully opaque, it doesn't require a lining.

Natural Fibres

This fabric is made from 100% cotton. Unlike many synthetic materials, garments made of natural fibres don"t contribute to microplastics pollution throughout their lifespan. In addition, natural fibres are biodegradable, meaning they break down naturally once they"ve reached the end of their useful life and provide an option which is kinder to the planet.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road. Machine wash in warm water and tumble dry on medium or hot. More delicate cottons like voile, double gauze or embroidered cottons should be washed by hand or on the delicate cycle.

Fabric Tips

Use a hot iron when pressing.
