Bold, angular, and magnificently chic, this Italian-designed viscose woven glows in luxurious jewel tones in a striking print that reminds us of a deconstructed plaid. It's also Oeko-Tex STeP certified, with a flowy, buttery soft hand. With a full drape and light, smooth texture, this viscose has potential in spades. We see it as body-skimming dresses, dramatic bottoms and tops, and anything unstructured that needs to pack a punch! Fully opaque, it does not require a lining.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use an extra sharp pair of shears or rotary cutter and pattern weights to cut your fabric. Use a medium iron when pressing.

More than fabulous.

This is a great viscose matte with a crisp but soft drape. I bought it to match an aqua striped matching fabric sold here. It slides just a little when you sew. I’m using an old Bernina walking foot attachment. I’m making an oversized blouse with long tails.
