Fabulous pattern with great techniques

I am most impressed with this shirt pattern. The techniques for the collar and hem are brilliant and I will definitely be using them from now on.

The details, such as the hanging loop, look great and the cuff is wide enough to accommodate two buttons, again, lifting the shirt from ‘ordinary’

Jenna Shirt

I was looking for a classic tailored shirt when I found Jenna. Perfect pattern for a boyfriend look but not too overly sized. Great directions, I will be trying other Closet Core patterns

Great pattern with best sleeves plackets

I have sewn a few buttons up shirts and I have waited to get this pattern on payday. I love the boxy feel with the bigger back yoke. This is the first time I don’t have to tweak on the sleeve placket and able to sew it perfect first time. The only reason I give me 4 stars because the collar sewing and the side gussets instruction is not as user friendly as I had hoped. Hopefully, there will be a video tutorial for these in near future.

Jenna shirt success!

I've made a few different button up shirts and none of them pleased me as much as the Jenna shirt. I made a slightly cropped one in a lovely soft aqua linen. The pattern was so well written I had no major difficulties, just reminded myself to vibe kind and take it slowly, no rush. I'll be making more, and am even thinking of making the dress, it looks so comfy and the shirt collar adds a little style.
