Sorry, looks like we don't have enough of this product.
This charming wide striped cotton is an eco-friendly powerhouse! Made from 100% recycled textiles, it is spun and woven using no added dyes and minimal water. Featuring a wide yarn-dyed stripe, it's woven with a mix of cotton (for softness and breathability) and just a touch of polyester (for strength and durability). Incredibly soft with a slightly rustic weave and gentle drape, it's suited for a wide range of projects. We're thinking pajamas, collared shirts, shorts, pants, dresses... It's really a jack of all trades. Nearly fully opaque, it does not require a lining.
Based in Brazil, this certified B Corp supplier has developed a recycling process to produce these beautiful textiles using leftovers from garment production and recycled clothing. Scraps are first sorted by colour before being broken down into spinable fibre. Separating colours beforehand makes it possible to create a rainbow of yarns without bleaching or adding dye.

Wash
Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them. You can add half a cup to one cup of vinegar to the final rinse cycle to help set the colours and minimize bleeding. It’s important to wash and dry cotton to remove any potential shrinkage down the road.
Long-Term Care
Cotton stretch blends may shrink excessively when exposed to high heat. Machine wash in cool water and tumble dry on low.
Fabric Tips
Use a medium iron with a pressing cloth. We recommend starting your project with a brand new ballpoint or stretch needle.

This fabric is beautiful and incredibly soft, and it seems durable. It frays a lot however, so I used my serger to finish every raw edge before assembling the garment.
I bought this for my husband. He started sewing by machine during COVID and wanted to make a cotton/linen red striped shirt. At the time, we could only find blue and white striped so when I saw this fabric, I quickly bought it and gave it to him for Christmas. He is thrilled!
