Beautiful Shirt Pattern

I bought as a kit from Liz at Flying Bobbins. It is an amazing pattern I can’t recommend it highly enough, I’ve made two so far and I’m just wondering which fabric to use for my third 😊

My new favourite casual shirt! Extremely good instructions and online help. Each step was clearly explained and has bolstered my dressmaking confidence considerably.

Beautiful Pattern

This pattern was an absolute joy to work with. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and the finished piece is something I’m so proud of. All of the small details outlined in this pattern really makes a difference in the quality of the finished garment. I can’t wait to make the other variations of this pattern!

Great oversized shirt

I made the shirt in a viscose twill and it's lovely. I'll make another but take an inch off the length (I'm 5'8"). I sized down by 1 so it wasn't too big after comparing the pattern to a couple of ready to wear shirts I have. The sew was fairly straightforward apart from the cuffs which I had to do twice for some reason. It was my first traditional shirt make and the instructions were generally clear. I have a kit from Guthrie & Ghani which comes with an extra tips video which was useful.

Fabulous pattern with great techniques

I am most impressed with this shirt pattern. The techniques for the collar and hem are brilliant and I will definitely be using them from now on.

The details, such as the hanging loop, look great and the cuff is wide enough to accommodate two buttons, again, lifting the shirt from ‘ordinary’
