We are a proudly Canadian business located in beautiful Montreal, Quebec. We ship globally, with the vast majority of our customers based in the United States. This led us to choose USD as the base currency for our website.
If you are Canadian and viewing our website with a Canadian IP address, you should always see prices in CAD; please let us know if you do not as there may be a technical issue we can help you resolve. For each fabric available in our online store, we can send you a fabric card with its available color palette. Each card costs $2 and shipping for one or more cards is extra.

- For purchases of between 20 and 50 metres, you benefit from a 30% discount on the regular retail price for in-stock inventory.
- For orders of 50 metres or more per color and fabric, you can access our Wholesale pricing with a 40% discount on the retail price, visible on our wholesale platform.

We work hard to source textiles from artisans, mills and wholesalers around the world who are committed to producing fabric in environmentally and ethically responsible ways. We are continually reviewing our sourcing practices to identify and implement areas of improvement, and acknowledge that true sustainability is a lifetime commitment to meaningful and ongoing actions and education.
We try our best to source locally as much as possible, but it can be challenging since most textile manufacturing has left North America.

Our shop is in metres. If you're used to yards, a metre is just a little over 3 inches longer, so think of it as a tiny fabric bonus! To make shopping easier for those used to seeing yards, our handy yardage converter is right under the quantity selector if you ever need a quick conversion.

Pricing and Taxes

We offer a multi-currency checkout experience; the currency displayed to you is based on the IP address of your location and country. If you are using a VPN, an incognito window or a browser extension, this may interfere with the geolocation process. Simply use the drop-down menu at the top of the page to choose between CAD, USD, AUD, GBP, or EUR. Once you make your selection, the product prices will be displayed and your card will be charged in your chosen currency.

All Canadian shoppers will be charged HST, GST and PST, as is required depending on where they live in Canada. These taxes are added at checkout.
Customers based in the EU and UK will be charged VAT on all purchases. VAT is included in the price shown on the product pages.
In recent years, regulations have changed, and VAT must now be collected based on the customer’s location (as opposed to the company’s location). So, even though we are a Canadian company, we are legally required to collect and remit VAT. You can read more about the VAT regulations here.
If you have a discount code, it will be applied to the total price before taxes.

Starting May 2, 2025, the U.S. government will end duty-free (de minimis) treatment for goods from China and Hong Kong. This means that all products of Chinese origin imported into the U.S. will be subject to applicable duties, tariffs, and taxes, billed at or after delivery, and will be the responsibility of the customer.
Orders under $800 USD that include only non-Chinese-made items will continue to ship duty-free to the U.S. for now. Please visit this page for more info.
Shipping and Returns

Yes! From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. That said, all additional customs and duties that may be collected at the border are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Canadian orders are shipped via Canada Post or FedEx and all orders include tracking. You will be emailed a tracking number when your order is prepared. Once you've been sent a tracking number, your order should arrive within 3-7 days depending on the service you selected.
United States:Fedex 7 to 10 days
International: Fedex 7-14 days Canada Post 30 business days ( depending on location and delays).
You can also manage your own transport by coordinating with our sales agent.

American orders are shipped via Fedex and all orders include tracking. Once your shipment is prepared, you will be sent a notification email with tracking information. Your order should arrive within 7-10 days.
There is an option available to ship up to 10 swatches at a lower cost using lettermail. This service is untracked, and can take up to three weeks.
For addresses that FedEx does not ship to, we offer Canada Post Expedited Parcel USA as an option. This service can take up to 21 days depending on customs clearance delays.

We ship globally! We have worked hard to find a shipping service that allows us to provide affordable international shipping rates. Orders to most countries include tracking. Once you've been sent a tracking number, you can expect your package to arrive anywhere from 7-14 days depending on your location. We ask that you be patient while waiting for your package, as some international shipping services experience delays.
For addresses that FedEx does not ship to, we offer Canada Post International air and Xpress post International as options. This service can take up to 30 business days depending on customs clearance delays.
We charge VAT on all orders from the UK and EU, and we document that information on your package to help lower value shipments move more quickly through customs. VAT is not collected on orders over 150€. All additional customs and duties that may be collected at the border are the sole responsibility of the customer.

After your order is prepared for shipping, you’ll be sent a confirmation email with a tracking number (if applicable).
Below you'll find average shipping times once you've received a shipping notification. Please note we are not responsible for delays due to carrier, customs or border issues. Once your order leaves our warehouse, we have little control over its journey to you!
Canada: 3 to 7 business days
United States:Fedex 7 to 10 days

Please note that the process for shipping wholesale orders differs from the retail orders.
- Provide complete delivery information including street address with door or loading dock number on your wholesale account
- Once your cart is complete, click on the “Submit for Approval” button
- Our sales representative will validate the best delivery method according to the size of your order and shipping address. You may be contacted for proper coordination for larger orders.
- Once the transport has been arranged, the updated invoice will be sent to you for payment.
- Once the order has been paid in full, the order will be shipped out from our Montreal warehouse.
Please note that you may coordinate your own transport with the company of your choice. Just let us know that this is your preference and no freight charges will be associated with the invoice. We will then provide you with the shipping weight and dimensions, and will wait for you to send the shipping labels by email to your sales representative.

We pride ourselves on our high quality product imagery and thoughtful descriptions to ensure you understand exactly what you are purchasing. While we work hard to ensure colour accuracy when shooting and editing images, please note that colours may vary depending on your device and monitor. We suggest that you order a swatch before purchasing to verify the colour, texture and feel of the fabric.
Once an order is cut and shipped, no refunds are possible.However, we do offer a 24-hour turnaround (business days) after receipt of each wholesale order if there is a problem with the order. You must contact your sales representative by e-mail to inform her of the nature of the problem.

Once a non-conformity agreement has been reached, a return process can be initiated. Please note that it is imperative to validate the quality of the merchandise BEFORE cutting. Rolls must be untouched and intact to allow for the return process.
No cancellation is possible if the customer is not on site to receive the merchandise.

We are committed to investing in sustainability initiatives to counteract the environmental impact of shipping. We know that transportation used to ship our orders burns fossil fuels and generates carbon emissions. Those emissions trap heat, leading to climate change. To minimize our carbon footprint, we subscribe to Planet, which helps neutralize our shipments' carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
Planet uses industry models to determine the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere for each shipment and then charges us an amount per shipment to offset those emissions. The funds are used to back the development of technologies that accelerate carbon removal from the atmosphere. You can learn more about the initiative here.
