Craft the coziest coat of your dreams with this eco-friendly recycled silk interlining! Made from pre-consumer recycled silk and Polylactic Acid (PLA), this interlining combines the natural insulation and moisture management of silk with the durability of PLA—a renewable bioplastic sourced from corn or sugarcane that's even commercially compostable. What's more, the recycling process behind this interlining is top-notch, using GOTS-approved organic substances to decolour the silk, ensuring an eco-friendly transformation. This fluffy, soft, and super warm interlining is perfect for low-loft batting in quilts or quilted jackets, and as a sneaky but powerful sew-in interlining sandwiched between outer and lining fabrics.

Adds a lot of warmth

A little tricky to work with, but the coat I made with it is super warm so it was totally worth it. If you’re making something that’s going to get a lot of wear I’d suggest quilting the lining to make sure it doesn’t shift
