This deadstock from Canadian indie designer Melow is a dream for layering! Made from a soft Tencel blend with a beautifully textured waffle, it’s soft to the touch and offers excellent two-way mechanical stretch for comfort and movement. While almost opaque, it turns subtly sheer when fully stretched. Ideal for knit tops, lightweight cardigans, and all kinds of soft layers, this fabric is your go-to for everyday wear.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Finished garments should be hand washed with cool water to ensure minimal shrinkage.

Fabric Tips

Use a medium iron with a pressing cloth. We recommend starting your project with a brand new ballpoint or stretch needle.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Any applicable Duties and Tariffs are collected at checkout and packages are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid)
