Samsara deadstock white ECONYL® knit made in Italy—semi-opaque, supportive, stretchy, quick-dry, UV-protected, perfect for leggings, tops, and activewear.

This Samsara deadstock knit is crafted from ECONYL® (78% regenerated nylon, 22% elastane), a high-performance fibre made from recycled materials such as fishing nets and fabric waste. Made in Italy, it is soft, smooth, and semi-opaque with excellent support and compression. It’s ideal for leggings, sports bras, tops, and other activewear projects. Designed for durability and ease, this knit is pilling- and snag-resistant, quick-drying, UV 50+ protected, and wrinkle-free, making it a functional, versatile, and stylish choice for all your movement-focused designs.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach.

Fabric Tips

Avoid ironing if possible. While you can use a little well-placed steam if you are finding your seams behaving badly, a finger press will go just as far in most cases. Use a low iron when pressing.

From our studio in beautiful Montreal, Canada, we are delighted to ship to makers worldwide. Shipping is free on Canadian and US orders over $150.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Any applicable Duties and Tariffs are collected at checkout and packages are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid)
