This deadstock from Vancouver-based cycling apparel Samsara is a lightweight, 87% recycled polyester, 13% elastane fabric made in Italy with a smooth hand and incredible stretch with excellent recovery. Semi-opaque and supportive, it’s perfect for leggings, sports bras, tops, or other activewear projects. Durable, it is pilling- and snag-resistant, quick-drying, UV 50+ protected, and wrinkle-free, making it a functional and stylish choice for performance-focused designs.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Wash in cool water on the delicate cycle, and line dry. Do not tumble dry or bleach.

Fabric Tips

Avoid ironing if possible. While you can use a little well-placed steam if you are finding your seams behaving badly, a finger press will go just as far in most cases. Use a low iron when pressing.

Orders outside of Canada are subject to customs and duties and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Any applicable Duties and Tariffs are collected at checkout and packages are shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid)
