This linen offers a delightful blend of breezy comfort and rustic charm, destined to only grow softer with each wear. Its gentle drape with a crisp edge make sewing a breeze, while its natural properties ensure breathability, durability, and hypoallergenic goodness. A lighter weight alternative to our bestselling midweight European linen, its perfect for a variety of warm-weather attire, from casual tops to airy dresses and relaxed trousers.

Wash report:To provide you with the most accurate fabric description, we ran a test wash using the gentle machine cycle and a mild detergent to protect the fibres. We’re happy to report that we didn’t experience any colour bleeding or fading and that the fabric got even softer to the touch after only washing it once.

Care Instructions

Wash

Always pretreat fabric before sewing to remove chemical sizing from the manufacturing process. Pre-washing also gives you a better sense of the true drape and handfeel of a fabric. We recommend washing and drying fabric in the same way you intend to wash your finished garment. Be sure to separate brights and colours, as some dyes and prints may run the first few times you wash them.

Long-Term Care

Linen can withstand high heat when washing and drying. Choose warm or hot water when machine washing (choose a cooler temperature for colours). Tumble dry on hot, and remove when slightly damp to help eliminate wrinkles.

Fabric Tips

Press your fabric before cutting out your pattern pieces. Use a hot iron when pressing.
